New boots

Blowfish box

I might have mentioned, in passing, that I didn’t have any new boots. It was a subtle mention on this post. Nothing too obvious. I’m surprised it was even picked up. Ahem.

But bless the lovely PR at MandMDirect who sent IJ a pair of boots last week. On seeing I didn’t have any new boots myself, she sent me a pair.

Voila.

Blowfish boots

I feel a bit cheeky now.

I was given the entire Blowfish section to choose from after mentioning I’ve got a black pair of Blowfish ankle boots I really like.

So these are for the party season.

Brown Blowfish boots

Despite the 6cm heel I’m able to walk in them, which is always a bonus, and the rounded toes make them surprisingly comfortable. They are perfect with jeans (although worn under jeans rather than with skinnies).

Blowfish brown boots

My previous pair of Blowfish boots have lasted me three years so far, so it’s a brand I’ve always found long lasting.

Now I just need a party to go to.

The Blowfish Bicker Ankle Boots Dark Brown/Black boots are modelled by my sister as it proved impossible for me to photograph them whilst wearing them, not surprisingly. It’s been a struggle to get them back from her though.

The RRP is £64.99. They are reduced to £24.99 on MandMDirect.com. I received the pair free of charge for the purpose of this review but I’d certainly order from the site in future.

I’m fussy about boots and shoes. I used to squeeze my feet into anything but now I have to go for comfort first and style second. A sign of getting older?
