Last night, just as I was about to write the most awesome of blog posts, I fell asleep. I woke up 12 hours later still in my outdoor clothes, with all the house lights on, the television blaring, and bright sunshine streaming in through the front window.
The result of this epic sleep is that I’m feeling slightly more alive than I did earlier in the week, when I tried to board a train with a ticket dated for later this month and queried with the guard as to why this should be a problem.
In fact I’m feeling so much better that even the idea of cleaning the house, and attempting to cook a meal from scratch, appeal.
Unfortunately, though, I’ve completely forgotten the blog post I was going to write.
So this post isn’t awesome.
But all is not lost, because I can offer you this awesomeness instead:
Tomorrow three bloggers, Annie from Mammasaurus, Tanya from Mummy Barrow and Penny from Alexander Residence, aka Team Honk, are flying off to Ghana as part of Red Nose Day’s 25th anniversary. They’ll be seeing for themselves the difference Red Nose Day money is making to the lives of others.
They’ll be visiting four different projects, including a vaccination clinic and a mental health project, and tweeting and blogging their experiences live using the hashtag #goodwork. They reside on Twitter as @aresidence @mammasaurusblog @mummybarrow, so now’s the time to follow them if you aren’t already.
For more details of their schedule visit the Team Honk website.
Wishing them a safe journey and all the best on their Red Nose Day adventure!
