Versions of cloud

by RosieS on August 22, 2012

I love photo apps. There is so much you can do with just a very simple photo.

These are my ‘cloud thought bubbles’ on Instagram.

On Pixelromatic you can add rain.

Clouds and rain

Using iDarkroom you can add a little extra sparkle.

And in Tadaa you can turn the sky red.

Or brown.

Or make it look slightly radioactive.

Orange clouds

And in Halftone you can turn it into a comic and add a bolt of lightning.

Hee hee great use of effects here Rosie the last one looks like a comic book still. The first one is my fav though, just a simple fluffy cloud set against a beautiful blue sky x

Yes, I think I like the first one best too. You can’t beat a beautiful blue sky x

Brilliant, I can never decide what photo effects to use when I start editing!

Same here! There are just too many to choose from.

I am now about to download all those apps! Fab pictures..

There are probably plenty more too. Most of these are free. I think the iDarkroom app is about 69p. :)

I like your take on the theme with those thought bubble clouds especially the ones against a flowery sky.

Thanks Erica. I love the flowery sky one too.

Fantastic post. Some of my best pictures have been taken on the spur of the moment with my iPhone (after spending a huge amount on my grown-up camera, Bailey!). I’ve not really had a good play with the photo apps though but will look these up.

Thanks Natalie. I bought myself a good camera last year but now I seem to spend longer taking shots with my iphone. It’s a new addiction.

Clever isn’t it. There are lots of different versions of the comic effect. I need to have a play around.

That is really clever! I may have to go and search for more apps as those look great!

Thanks. There are so many to choose from. Hard to know where to start!

I’m torn between the first one and the radioactive one – either could be a very good start for a story…

Reply

RosieS August 22, 2012 at 9:35 am

Ooh, I like the idea of them being the start of a story. Didn’t think of that.
